IP Thermo Cam
J-THERM HPDC is a system designed for continuous monitoring and thermographic control of the working conditions of the mold. The system consists of 2 thermal imaging cameras (equipped with a high resolution sensor) which reproduce 4 thermal images for each piece produced: 2 before and 2 after the lubrication.
The system is suitable for all die casting machines with any production capacity. It is particularly suitable for structural castings with complicated structures such as, for example, parts of the vehicle frame, components for the navy, motorcycles and transport in general. The main characteristics that these catst have in common are their size, thin thickness and complex geometries. These structural castings must guarantee high mechanical yields, greater than those available with traditional technologies.
For this reason it is very important to use aluminum alloys more suitable for these new applications and to control every single phase of the production process.
J-THERM HPDC is equipped with single graphic interface software capable of automatically acquiring images as indicated by the machine. It is possible to set alarm zones with temperature ranges to be controlled.
The quality of the process is guaranteed through the comparison of thermographs.
