SCOREX PRO GR 4515 is a granular covering and cleaning flux, specifically formulated for aluminum alloys (excluding Al-Mg alloys). It is suitable for a wide range of melting processes, including:

• Low and high-pressure die casting
• Sand and gravity die casting

Its consistent grain size (1–4 mm, >90%) and low fluoride content (<5%) make it ideal for automatic degassing systems as well, improving both efficiency and operator safety.

Field-Tested Performance

In a 40-day continuous test on 3-ton Marconi tower melting furnaces, SCOREX PRO GR 4515 demonstrated:

It is recommended to stir with preheated tools coated with refractory paint (e.g., Vernix A3). After 10–15 minutes, the dross can be easily removed without generating unpleasant odors or harmful fumes, as confirmed by tests conducted in 5-ton induction furnaces.
