In a production environment where efficiency and quality must go hand in hand, continuous temperature monitoring of the die is a key factor in preventing defects, optimizing cycle times, and extending equipment lifespan. The J-THERM SYSTEM was developed with this purpose: to provide an integrated, flexible, and high-performance solution for thermographic control in the die casting of non-ferrous alloys such as Aluminum and Magnesium.
What is J-THERM SYSTEM?
It is a fully equipped, mobile cart-based system designed for real-time temperature detection of molds installed on die-casting machines. The system allows constant monitoring of the thermal conditions of both the fixed and moving halves of the mold, helping to prevent issues related to thermal imbalances or overheating.
System Components
- Integrated mobile cart: includes an industrial PC, Siemens PLC for direct interface with the die-casting machine, dosing system, and spray head.
- Two high-sensitivity thermal cameras: mounted on the cart for transport and then positioned on the front gate of the machine (on the fixed and moving mold sides, respectively).
- Touchscreen monitor: enables real-time display of thermographic images, definition of critical monitoring areas, and alarm configuration.
- Integrated cloud software: all data and images are stored in a database accessible remotely via web or smartphone, making post-process analysis or external technical support easier.
System Benefits
- Complete control of die temperature during every production cycle
- Reduced scrap rate thanks to early detection of thermal anomalies
- Intuitive interface for immediate management of critical areas
- Automatic data storage with remote access for technical support and traceability
- Integration with the spray system for synergistic process management
Availability and Supply Terms
The J-THERM SYSTEM is also available on a loan-for-use basis, with an initial installation fee and a binding supply contract for the release agent over a defined period (3–5 years, based on consumption).
Early termination is always possible by paying the remaining amount under the contractual terms.
